Burrowing Owl Owlet - S.W Florida

I created this image over the weekend during my Burrowing Owls Workshop. There are some chicks (owlets) with no feathers right now but they should be very active for my second workshop there in May.

They are so much fun to photograph and the little flowers really adds to it.

Hope you like it.

Canon 7D, Canon 800mm L @ f/8, 1/640 sec, ISO 200, Tripod.

Thanks!

How wonderful. They're cute even as adults. You're right: the tiny spring flowers are a great touch.

If I could suggest a Levels correction, L:18, R:204, that would really make this image pop and get rid of the Levels 'dead space'.

I'm jealous....Was there in Feb. and got some shots but would love to be able to photograph these little guys. Don't blame you wanting to go back!

BTW love to flowers in the background!
