Burrowing Owls...in a TREE?

Discussion in 'Birds' started by bobbyv, Jun 16, 2017.

  1. I was the only person at the park Wednesday due to the wet grounds, and I believe that's why they were up in the branches. Gotta try for a different look for these little guys.

    Like 1 - different.

  4. These are great, Bobby!

  5. Thanks. Fill flash would lighten up the feet in the first shot, but I still refuse the flash owls, even from a distance.

    All are beautiful.

In the first one does the owl on the left have it's leg tucked up or is it missing?

  7. I like them all...nicely captured

  8. +1 No flashing owls. Nice caps:)

  9. These are great! Really nice to see these up on a tree branch in #1. Certainly a different look than what we usually get with them staying so close to their burrows.

  10. Part of the landing gear isn't down.
