Mind you, I am not very much a flower person and the irony was that it was taken at the botanical garden in montreal ... :lol:

Yves. Beautiful pictures, well taken and lighted. Now you know why the Botanical garden is my favourite place, especially in winter. Besides the butterflies, one also have almost year long beautiful flowers exhibits such as the orchids you have taken.

These are incredible.... :p

Like Gordon, I'm running out of good things to say, but that doesn't take away from the excellence of these shots. The color, lighting, sharpness, and background isolation is just awesome!!

I know that I'll never get to this level, but at least you give noobs like me some insight of what can be achieved in photography. 8)

Oh stop it now, I can't take a good picture of a bird in flight .... You do beat me to it big time ...
