  1. Following this thread ...

These are images from the visit we had.

Mind you, I am not very much a flower person and the irony was that it was taken at the botanical garden in montreal ...

    So here are the images:

    NIKON D2H    ---    60mm    f/8.0    1/160s    ISO 500

    NIKON D2H    ---    60mm    f/4.0    1/160s    ISO 320

    NIKON D2H    ---    60mm    f/25.0    1/40s    ISO 500

Ha, not a very much a flower person!!! yeah... :p
  4. These images are fantastic Yves. Between you Dao and Mike I am running out of superlatives. Nicely done and I hope you plan to mount and sell some of these images. Your wolf shots as well.
  5. Yves. Beautiful pictures, well taken and lighted. Now you know why the Botanical garden is my favourite place, especially in winter. Besides the butterflies, one also have almost year long beautiful flowers exhibits such as the orchids you have taken.

I'm sorry, but I have to go with the majority opinion.... :?

    These are incredible.... :p

Like Gordon, I'm running out of good things to say, but that doesn't take away from the excellence of these shots. The color, lighting, sharpness, and background isolation is just awesome!!

I know that I'll never get to this level, but at least you give noobs like me some insight of what can be achieved in photography. 8)

  7. Oh stop it now, I can't take a good picture of a bird in flight .... You do beat me to it big time ...
  8. Great Work

I really liked the third image.
