A good friend, who has been living on the other side of the pond for a while, made his way back this way to be the best man at a wedding. I got a chance to visit him and we went to play pool. I brought the D200+85 f/1.4 with me "just in case", and it turned out to be a good opportunity to try some low light shooting.

    Sharpest of the pictures, @f/2.8

Eye is a touch OOF as it grabbed the shoulder for focus and I was shooting at f/1.4, but I think overall this isn't too bad

    ok, this isn't exactly "people", but I like it, so (@f/2) . . .
  2. I'm sold! Now I want an 85/1.4
  3. the 85 1.4 is the best low light lens I own. Lovely images!
