3 points to CKnight "Dreaming of Birds"

2 points to Shecks "I just want to be your friend"

1 point to smera "SHARK"

This was a very tough contest. The submissions were extremely creative and some just really funny. These contests make us look deep into our creativity to find a different side to ourselves, at least for me.

Excellent work everyone.

Thanks Greg for a great topic!

my vote!

Wow many great portions which combine to a very artistic whole challenge!

Here's my vote for Challenge #10

1st place: 3 points go to "The End" by Kevin Scott
Great abstract Rear End! Although the owner might not consider this his best side?

2nd place: 2 points go to "Shark" by smera
Seems I'm into abstracts, this time. I hope you tilted the camera and not the bird!

3rd place: 1 point goes to "Dreaming of Birds" by cknight
Nice mellow mood, seems like he/she is dreaming of a roasted chickens

Honorable mentions to:
Chris 101 very abstract (and almost as good as your avatars), Philippe Roger (Great capture, but my cat mentioned it to be a little too explicit )
and to all the other participants for showing such creativity!

Nice job everyone...

1st place: 3 points go to "Howard" by Patrick Bramlett
In the spirit of the challenge this is perfectly done. Love the colors and the composition. Right on the money!

2nd place: 2 points go to "Pink Feathers" by Chris101
Looks like a studio shot. Quality is best of the group and considering the equipment and settings used, makes it that much more outstanding.

3rd place: 1 point goes to ""Shark" by smera
Colors, texture, background. Quality photograph. Well done.

Honorable mentions to:
David Fink: Love the lines and texture. Dbirdsong: If you had cropped it tighter you'd have my vote. Funny pic!. And Greg just because I have sooooo many of these shots!

Congrats to all,

_/oe

I tried to judge first and foremost by faithfulness to the theme.

1st (3 pts) Pink Feather by Chris

I see only feathers, yet I know exactly what the whole is.

2nd (2 pts) The end by Kevin

Shows a little bit more of the whole.

3rd (1 pt) Hoofing it by David

Same comment as 2nd

For HM I would choose The Stare by mcs for professional quality
and Shark!!! by Smera. I probably would have made the Shark #2 or #3, but I'm not convinced it is a shark fin and hence not part of the whole - shark that is. If I'm wrong about this please accept my apologies.
