Title = Living for the City by Stevie Wonder

A four image panorama of Manhattan during a cloudy fall morning sunrise. The bridge in the background is the Whitestone.

"His hair is long, his feet are hard and gritty
He spends his life walking the streets of New York City
He's almost dead from breathing on air pollution
He tried to vote but to him there's no solution
Living just enough, just enough for the city...yeah, yeah, yeah!

I hope you hear inside my voice of sorrow
And that it motivates you to make a better tomorrow
This place is cruel no where could be much colder
If we don't change the world will soon be over
Living just enough, just enough for the city!!!!"

  6. WHY WORRY by Dire Straits

Baby I see this world has made you sad
    Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say
But baby I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey
Why worry, there should be laughter after the pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
    So why worry now

  7. This is NOT a submission for the contest...

...because it was produced WAY outside the time limits.

But I just wanted to show you all it anyway.

With the exception of three heroes of mine, all the people featured are past and present family members. And even those who are PAST are still PRESENT because we're still thinking about them and including them in our plans and projects.

    Strangers on The Shore

A song by Mike Murray and Lesley Silvester ©2000 Mike Murray and Lesley Silvester

Long ago the elders say, there came a sign from over the sea
Big bird came on a moonless night, laid dead on the rocks in the morning light
Then out of the sea the white ghosts came and they fell on their face in the sand

They were strangers, stranded in a land unknown and faraway
Searching the horizon each and every day
They were strangers, strangers on the shore

Running from a storm on the Java run, our ship ran aground on a hidden reef
Wrecked on the rocks of this Southern Land, in dawn’s grey light we were lying on the sand
Found on the beach by the native men we were taken to their homes faraway

    The answer is ...

Blowin' in the Wind by Bob Dylan (1963)
Here is the song in case you don't know it.
  16. "Moonlight Shadow" by Mike Oldfield

    "Moonlight Shadow"

The last that ever she saw him,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
He passed on worried and warning,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Lost in a river that Saturday night,
Far away on the other side.
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through.
