  9. my vote

So much to choose from, and only 3 votes, it was a very hard choice!

But finally I managed my vote for the Challenge #17 - "Geometry"

1st place: 3 points go to "Queen's Slipper" by viewfinder
I like everything about it: the angle, the colors and the vintage feeling!

2nd place: 2 points go to "a study of circles" by Leigh
Simple but totally new view, on a common subject, seems I'm in a B&W mood  !

3rd place: 1 point goes to "Wood and Metal on the Lake" by kdraper
A very calm, but also strong picture!

Honorable mentions to everyone else! This was such a great variety of beautiful pictures!

  16. Excellent entries which makes it tough to judge. I tried to pick those that were true to the theme and visually stimulating.

1st place (3 pts.) - First Ice, nfoto

2nd place (2 pts.) - Study Of Circles, Leigh

3rd place (1 pt.) - Natural Curves, MCS

Thank you MCS for a truly inspiring competition and thanks to all that entered.

Note: Voting modified because of a withdrawn entry.

Wow! These are really, really good! I picked 11 photos I wanted to give first prise to, but that isn't allowed. So here we go:

First, 3 points, to Beezle's Backbone
Second, 2 points to Leigh's a study of circles
Third, 1 point to Manzico's Bars

Honorable mentions to nfoto and Gale to round out my top five. Gale you juxtaposed the dark of the ghetto with the color of its unseen inhabitants perfectly in your entry.
