In your mind

The original picture is an ink drop (one eye) and in PS I simply multiplied it to make an abstract figure. I hope it falls within the rules.

THROTTLE

I had an opportunity to shoot AMA Superbike testing at Laguna Seca on Tuesday (played hooky from work). Unfortunately, it poured rain all night the night before and we had to wait around for hours for the track to dry.

I think this qualifies as an abstract view of a very abstract piece of machinery:

Night view from the Brewery

On our vacation Patrick and I visted the Riverwalk Brewery in Jacksonville. It was fun 8) This was taken looking toward Jacksonville Landing and that is a whole adventure in itself which i'll explain later.

This picture was taken at the Montreal Congress center at a polished metal ceiling. The colors came from tinted bay windows and interior lights. PS used for cropping and adjustments of contrast and brightness.

Angels Fan
Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)

What I did here was to take an image of an Angels fan (purposely overexpose it) and inside Nikon Capture, use the "Show lost highlights" feature and capture that image. There are NO other modifications that have been made to the image.

Hope this is inside the competitions spirit and boundaries.

D2X, 70-200mm VR, HSC. Image taken on April 2, 2005.
