The title of this challenge will be
My special place
Many of us have special places in our neighborhoods that mean a lot to us. These places bring back touching memories from our childhoods. There are places, where you first met your loved one or proposed to her/received a proposal to marry. Some places remind us of the history or the great times we had with our families. There are places where we had (or keep having) fun times with our friends. Or maybe it is just a place in the nature where you like to go to find peace and clear your mind . This can also be a church, where you spend time thinking or praying. Of course there are other types of special places, so I am in no way limiting your creativity and/or choice as long as the picture of this place will demonstrate its aura and will tell us "a story".
My goal for this challenge is to have you get out of your houses/apartments and go to a place in your neighborhood that is very special to you. However, this is not the most difficult thing in this challenge….
THE PICTURE YOU POST IN THIS CHALLENGE HAS TO MAKE US REALIZE THAT THIS IS IN FACT A SPECIAL PLACE.
I want you to use the art of photography to pass the atmosphere, the feelings and the passion of this place to us.
Feel free to give a very short description why this place is special to you. Please remember about keeping your identity confidential and do not give us long descriptions. Your picture has to speak for you.
Submissions will begin Tuesday, October 21st 00:01am UTC/GMT
Submissions will close on Tuesday, November 4th 11:59pm UTC/GMT

The challenge rules are as follows:
NIKON CAFE CHALLENGE BASIC RULES
1. Every participant is allowed one picture per challenge.
2. The picture has to be taken between the submission start and end date.This is to make it a "Challenge" and not just another "Best
Picture Contest"
3. The posted picture must remain unaltered, once posted.
But the text of the participation may be edited/changed, as often as
necessary (for possible exceptions contact the Challenge Leader)!
4. Pictures may be processed/edited and worked on, in post production
before submitting them, but the main picture/content must have been
taken during the submission dates.
5. Somewhat controversial pictures are permitted, but please use your
judgment and keep it within reason. ( Note that this community should
remain suitable for all age groups )
6. If there are any questions or obscurities the Challenge Leader is the
person to appeal and to decide.
7. The actual Challenge Leader has the freedom to alter the rules,
if reasonable (except Rule 5 perhaps). But he/she has to make sure the rules
are clearly stated and applied to all submissions.
8. Please try to keep the identity of the photographer/participant hidden
(as long as the challenge is running, and voting isn't finished)
So don't include the name or post the picture anywhere else on the cafe for the duration of the challenge! Don't use pictures, that have already been shown/posted in the cafe forums.
