Techie stuff: D1X with 35/2. 1/8 @ F16
Beautiful, Randy. What lighting setup? Very well done.
Thanks Sandi! This was taken at a shoot at Rodeo Beach on the coast near SF. I had been shooting sunrise shots and when finished, wandered around and found a bunch of these in bloom. The light is all natural sunlight, filtering through some tree branches. I was able to isolate these guys because of the way the light was!
Wow, Im impressed. I thought this was a studio setup!
Those are amazing! I also thought a studio setup. Wonderful job!
That looks great. I love how you managed such subtlety in the flowers themselves.
Is that camera CCD based? I keep thinking I prefer CCDs for flowers.
Studio, what's that?
Yep, the D1X was a CCD bearin' camera. I think I have to agree, although there were many things wrong with the camera flower shots wasn't one of them! Thanks Beezle..
These are really nice.
Thanks Vern, much appreciated!

Ain't it the truth Mike! Thanks for havin' a peek...
Phew! Those really shine!
Beautiful shot. Nice lighting and you did well to preserve the highlights. Well done.
I think our higher power uses a soft light curtain when he see's Randy coming... Envious delight!
