We went on a drive up to the west side of the Tetons today. We hit a crazy storm on the way home!! But before that it was so beautiful.

#1 The wildflowers were beautiful.

#4 Flowers on the side of the highway. In just a few minutes we hit probably the worst storm we've ever driven in.

#4 is amazing. We had some awesome thunder etc., last night. Very unusual for us up here. Must be the 4-5th time this season.
But your pictures sure capture that high country and beyond!

Thanks, Nick. That was a wild storm we had. We hit some dust from the farms that totally blocked our visibility. We were caught in a bad storm up camping last weekend. Must be the season!!

Nice pics Terri and really impressive sky in the last one. Good car too!
Thank you, Ron. The sky certainly was foreboding. Once we hit the storm it was brutal!! We have enjoyed our Subaru. Almost time to start thinking about a replacement. We've had it almost 6 years.

Mrs. T. now says you are right and she is wrong. She hadn't looked closely at the leaves in your photos, which is the distinguishing characteristic.
The Arrowleaf Balsamroot are found all over this part of the country. Do you have them in your area? The map I saw shows them mainly in the west.
