Just curious to know how many D70, D2X, D2H, D100, Cool Pix etc etc users on this board.
I use a D70. I traded my CoolPix 5700 for some stuff for it. Since I play HP rep on weekends, I also use an HP Photosmart R707 and Photosmart C945. My wife's point and shoot is a Sony DSC-V3 which I will use on occassion. My daughter uses a Sony DSC-S70 which has been handed down.
Bryan, I use a D2H, but I noticed you did not list any film bodies, I am sure there are film users among cafe members. Christopher Dayan
You ask me ????? lololol
Have also Nikon CP5000 I use on occasion.. I would like to buy a cheap used D70 as a second camera.
for that Dam 70-200 VR I bought. big dummy
Gale I don't think buying the 70-200 was bad, just sellin the 80-400. I bought the 70-200, and kept my 80-400 for particular things. It is like a swiss army knife, you never know when you are going to use it. Christopher Dayan
What film bodies should I add? I am a newbie, and all I know is digital.
Bryan...I would be curious to know how many still use film. I am thinking about selling my F100...I was just reluctant because I was unsure of the market here. My F100 and MB15 are pristine if anyone has an interest. Would probably sell for $500ish.
Hey PhotoDawg, where the heck is the option for the D50? Please put this option onto the list, which of course would necessitate redoing the poll since D50 users, such as myself, had to choose the "Other" option, which doesn't give a fair accounting, if you want to see a breakdown by DSLR, Coolpix, and film Nikon SLRs. Oh, well, just my two cents worth. But, we D50 owners demand representation. Yeah, D50 Nikons--the other DSLRs. OK, OK, I'll be quiet.
Well, I have a Nikon FA that I love, but think I may never use again. I bought it around 1986 or so and have an MD15 that is literally brand new. The camera and lenses (35-70 and 70-210) are all like new. I just like to pull them out of their bag and look at them. Kind of like having an antique car that you keep in your garage and polish every so often. Now, if I only had the Gold FA, that would really be a treasure.
Hey there's a couple of us Fuji S3 users around here, using Nikon glass - don't we count??? *LOL* It's a Nikon body with a Fuji brain - I won't even TRY to make comparisons in the human world about that one!!!
