Canada!(Lots of photos)

Northern Ontario. Beautiful place. Its hard to get the photos that I was hoping for because everything looks the same. All green. I'm definitely excited with what I've come up with and I also have four rolls of film being developed soon.

Anyway, the reason I was up here was a fishing trip with my dad and brothers. We drive to a base camp and fly out on a plane to a cabin on a lake in the middle of nowhere.

a little bit more use of the "RULE OF THIRDS" would help take care of the STATIC nature of some of the, i suppose

Are you talking about the northern lights photos? Nah, thats what they actually look like. Its amazing.

Great shots...you totally get the feeling of quiet and isolation from your shots...can almost hear the loons calling across the lakes. I really love your northern lights pictures...they are just spectacular.

Wow...great northern lights shots!

To answer questions about the colour of the sky:

1) Staple food of any Northern Ontario camping/fishing trip is beans.
2) Cook beans over campfire.
3) Consume Canadian beer while enjoying your beans.
4) Announce your enjoyment of the beans an hour later (non-vocal announcement)
5) Announcement releases a noxious gas into the air.
6) Once gas mixes with atmosphere, those colours are created.

This just goes to show you how many people were eating beans and drinking beer around that lake! jk
