  1. I spent the day yesterday at the Canadian Senior Curling Championship that was help for the last 9 days here in Trois-Rivières, Québec.

Here are a few pictures I took yesterday.

I only attended 2 semi-finals match but I sure had a blast. That was my first experience shooting curling. I learned a lot yesterday and that will definitely help me do a better job next time.

The serious looks on everyones faces makes it look so agonizing. Do they ever smile while playing or have any fun?

Exposure and white balance look good on these BTW
  3. Yes they do smile. Mostly off the ice but they are also having fun on the ice. Quite a few of these players have spent years competing at the highest levels representing their province and their country all over the world. There were at least 2 World champions and quite a few more Canadian champions playing all week long in this tournament.

These guys knew what was at stake and they were prepared to give their all to win the championship. Even if that meant looking serious for the photographer.
  4. I really like #3

Very nice shots guys, I love how you both captured the intensity. I started watching curling a few years ago, the competition is fabulous.
