Attached are a couple of candid snapshots of a new junior Nikon Cafe member. Nothing special, and I usually don't do people pics and certainly NEVER post such. Taken at a local park, of my (next month) 4 yr old grandson Christopher. Unfortunately, I will never get my new hat back :frown: . For a good cause, I suppose. Chris likes to use his Nikon One Touch (remember film?) and recently his Coolpix 5000. Would show examples of his work, but unfortunately Nikon Cafe doesn't have a place to post photos of feet

    Excellent portraits Jerry.

He is just as handsome as can be.

Boy you can't beat the D2X for tones. Wow nice
  3. Great Jerry, just great! The hat looks good on him!

He's a great looking young man, Jerry. The "X" does maintain some wonderful skin tones!

Thanks for the comments, Gale, Dave, Frank, Radz. For some reason I couldn't get the pics directly into Nikon Cafe. In our almost daily trip to one of the local parks I decided to take my newly acquired 70-200 VR. Haven't had much of an opportunity to use it, thus the photos. Yes, Chris is easy to photograph and he was in a more mellow mood for these. Usually he is nothing but sparkly eyes and a toothy grin. He and his little sister, Hannah, both have very fair skin but the D2X seems to handle it rather well. Attached is a rather poor snapshot of his sister.
