Canon M and 22mm f/2 STM - poor man's X100s?

It seems Canon's foray into the mirror-less realm was not terribly successful, yet, although I read there are new models forthcoming. I regularly see the M discounted, I can get this with the 22mm f/2 (which gets good comments) for less than $500 CDN. I personally see this being more useful than the Nikon CX format cameras.

I used to own the Konica Hexar which sported a sweet 35mm f/2 lens, and the Fuji X100(s) models are so reminiscent of that; would I find the Canon M and 22mm f/2 to even come close to comparing with the Fuji models? I can't seem to find much on the Web about actual experiences (Ken Rockwell aside), seems this camera/lens package is a fair price and a good deal.

Thoughts?

'M" Stands for "Manual Focusing" since the systems AF system is virtually useless, you're better off buying a samsung NX210 with a 20mmF/2.8

Yes, I did read that the AF system on this camera was not spectacular....I guess I just need to try one out when I visit Henrys, perhaps even tomorrow....
