Cape Barren Goose

  1. Hi there,

    I haven't had much time to go out and shoot since I joined these forums.. but here is a pair of Cape Barren Geese I found today.

    D2X, 500/4, 1.4x, SB800 + BB, Tripod

    They are about the same size as a black swan (but with a shorter neck obviously).

    According to my bird guide they are 75-100 cm long with a wingspan of around 150-190cm.

    Makes it a little easier when you don't have to get within 5metres of them to get a good shot! (little birds frustrate me!) :)
