While down here for a nice long needed weekend, we took the kids to the Cape May County Zoo here in southern New Jersey. I must say it was quite a nice zoo. They really have allot of nice animals and maintain it nicely. Any rate, I figured I would share some of my fav's with you all. Mind you as some will know from going to zoo's, it's so hard to shoot thru two cages but some can manage. Using auto focus can be a bear as it hunts and focuses on the cage itself and rarely on the subject....LOL.

    Here goes.
    My wife loves giraffes!

    NIKON D40    ---    180mm    f/5.6    1/500s    ISO 400

    NIKON D40    ---    200mm    f/5.6    1/2000s    ISO 400

This guy was so cool. He was about 30 feet away up in the tree in his cage.
    NIKON D40    ---    200mm    f/5.6    1/500s    ISO 400

    NIKON D40    ---    200mm    f/5.6    1/500s    ISO 400

And I wanted to leave the kids there but the wife wouldn't let me! I felt they were right at home seeing how they act like animals when they are at home, sooo...........
Any rate just some randoms of the kids being kids...
