Caracara with Nesting Material

This is a shot of Caracara moments before flying into the nest. Light was higher than I like to get both sides of under wing well lit. I will try it again this weekend and hope I get more shots soon after sunrise.

This shot shows how intelligent this species is. This bird looped the nesting materials so it is easier to carry it to the nest.

Nice Cara Cara shot. He might have not lifted his right wing enough (barely) but he made up for it by really flaring his tail, and you caught the details in the tail feathers. That's a Cara Cara pose that I haven't seen yet.
