Casual "end-of-the-week" portrait

Discussion in 'People' started by Frits, Dec 2, 2005.

  1. My wife and I were having a pleasant "liquid refreshment" before dinner after a busy week.
As I like to do sometimes, I just took a snapshot portrait of her without any particular preparation. Natural light (not much of it, so: slow shutter speed - 0.7 sec!).
Her slight frown tells me: "Hurry up and I'll have a refill..."

Very nice image. She looks just great..
Now go get the refill :>)))))

Say where is the finished image of the tree extravaganza... Did I miss it.

Oh just one little nit... Whats that white thing growing out of her head....lolol
  3. Thanks Gale. Hey with casual snapshots you're allowed to have things grow out of your head, ears etc.

On the tree: No, you did not miss it. The last posted episode was day 6 ( https://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=57583 ). Anne is now working on the table centerpieces (all hand made by her, of course). I'll post a final thread with everything in place in a few days.

Your wife is a beautiful woman, Frits. Her eyes are very expressive and, as Dave mentioned, she is very tolerant of you snapping a few.
  9. Love the shot Frits.... But I also love the commentary that came with the post....
I just got finished a 2-hr PS clinic via the net and I needed something a little lighter to look at.
    Well done

    Hi Frits

    That is a great iamge.

It is almost posed but yet informal.

    Excellent work.

    Very best wishes
