Hehe...I know what you mean. His eyes are indeed bigger than his stomach.

Thanks, Russ. Yeah, he just kind of stood there for half an hour and then took off. He did poke at it a few times during that time period, but didn't make an attempt to swallow it.

Eric that is pretty amazing for sure. Here is one I got last fall here in Seattle. The orange color was due to the late time of the day and the muddy color of the water. This was an old dead salmon it was eating. It too took more than 1/2 an hour to get this down. I figured it would kill itself trying but it did not.
