Also, an issue has come up on another forum concerning an article on NIOM about using bird calls to attract and photograph songbirds... I have a poll going on my main page if your interested in voting... http://www.raymondbarlow.com/

    thanks in advance!

  2. Raymond,

Awesome work as always. The framing within the compositions is very effective.

    Great shooting!

  8. great Ray, as always--really like #4.

  9. Great images as usual. Thanks for the link.

  10. Nice set of images. But I have to question combining those ungainly, prehistoric looking cranes in the same thread with the lovely, graceful terns

  11. Love those tern shots Raymond. Terns are so fun to watch. Well done as always.

  12. thanks to everyone for the nice comments, very much appreciated.

hehehe... thanks Dan, I really like the Sandhills., around here they are quite rare, and very skittish, so this last few weeks has been a treat for a lot of the local photogs in the area! Personally, I prefer owls over any bird!!

  13. I love Sandhills - sadly however there's one family here that people keep feeding so they'll practically eat out of your hand now :(

but it is pretty interesting to be that close to something that large!

  14. that is interesting Argent., too bad, they should not lose their fear of humans, imo.

  15. Love those Terns Raymond!

  17. Neat Shots and #4 is the best. You always seem to be a the right place at the right time.

  18. thanks again everyone.. here is another shot of my Sweet Maria., hope no-one minds!!
