They are also known as Madagascar periwinkles and they are abundant throughout South Florida this time of year. They come in different varieties and in my opinion all of them are beautiful.
This was shot with my ancient D1X and old 105mm f4 Micro Nikkor AIS lens on a Manfrotto 2031 tripod with Linhof ball head.
Slight color saturation and sharpening were added with Photoshop.

Thank you Rich for your comments. I am sure you know the blurring effect in the background is the result of using a large lens opening.
Among my old cameras,the D1X is the one I reach when I want these colors.
I use the Adobe RGB color space in my other cameras but not in this one.
Unquestionably, technology does not take pictures.
