CD Burning program

What program do you use to burn photos to a CD? Do you use a separate program or APP, or do you use the Mac iOS?

And once the photos are burned to disk they'll work on a Mac and a PC? I ask because I've never used the Mac to burn a cd with photos. On my iMac I have Liquid CD from the App store that I use. On my new MacBook Pro, I can't find that that program in the APP store.

Joe I use Toast from Roxio. I really do not like their products but have not found anything better.

Yes, I have burned some photos to CD and the taken them to work and viewed them on the PC.

You can burn them directly to CD using the Mac Finder. Insert a blank CD, highlight them, then click the "Burn to Disc" button in the Finder window menu bar. It works with folder trees too.

Here is what I use most of the time, and I like it. It does have the option of burning for Mac only, or for Mac+PC... thing is, when you burn Jpegs, that is a file format that should be viewable on both platforms... shouldn't matter what you use to burn them...

I use a program I purchased at the Apple Store several years ago, it's call Disco; a drag and drop program. It seems to work well.

Of course I don't remember the last time I burned a CD or DVD. Everything is either digital or flash USB stick.

Toast most of the time, but for quick projects I just use Finder.

For the few times I need a CD/DVD, Finder works well enough for me.

One of the reasons I moved to Mac was that you didn't have to purchase a 3rd party product or download shareware/freeware to be able to burn discs using the CD/DVD drive that came with the system.
