Cedar Waxwing

  1. I was out looking for eagles today, and while I found two - they were a bit too far for good images. But while I was waiting, I had a go at this guy.

    Very colourful birds and the ones that visit the UK are quite confiding, apparently they do not experience humans much in their home territory in Sweden (I think Sweden).

    Yes most years they visit for a short time to feast on the Rowan Berries, often found in housing estates and supermarket car parks. :)
