    thanks Shing

D300 and my lowly 18-70 outside
a few with Sigma 30 1.4 in museum

for me, the 18-70 is the perfect city walk around lens
    I usually pair it with a low light lens, 30 1.4 or 35/2 , 50 1.8
I don't really shoot wide or tele in the city at all

    if I were you, I'd take your 24-70, 35 1.4
of course I live here and can visit often
  6. yeah, that was my inclination as well. Though i think i would like the 17-35 for the ultra-wide shots inside Grand Central Terminal and all the other BIG buildings. on the fense with the 70-200 as i do like to have a long tele (though could be swayed to buy the 70-300 when i get to B+H)

    great shots again Frank.

yah, you are probably right Shing, about the 17-35

the 70-300 would be a much easier carry around than the 70-200
  8. the 70-300 is much easier indeed. any reason to buy more lens. LOL
  9. Nice shots Frank :D
