It was hard for me to decide - should I judge by the photo or the song? Well, I had to combine the two, and there were some songs I've never heard. But, one of my very favorite songs ever, by one of my favorite blind R&B singers, who isn't Ray Charles, is Livin' for the City, photo by RFC NIKON: 3 points.

Second place was tougher, but being a hip-hop fan, I went for the visceral. Bootylicious, photo by Patrick Bramlett: 2 points

Now third place was a three way tie for me, so I decided by the song. Mad World, photo by nburwell: 1 point

Honorable mentions to Moonlight Shadow by Panos Kazanelis (sorry - I can't place the song) and Hickory Dickory Dock by Jade. I do know this song, but I burnt out on it many decades ago.

2 points goes to "Blowin' in the Wind" by Bob Dylan by Chris Heilman - Chris101

This was fun...and it was harder than I thought it would be in coming up w/a submission...and even harder to vote as all the submissions were awesome!

I decided to base my voting on a combination of lyrics and how well the picture fit them (at least to me anyway)...

1st place--3 points--Strangers on The Shore by tojor

2nd place--2 points--Living for the City by RFC Nikon

    3rd place--1 point--Hickory Dickory Dock by Jade

Honorable mentions go to "Mad World" by nburwell, "Moonlight Shadow" by Panos and Blowin' in the Wind by Chris101. Well done to everyone that entered a submission!

This was a fun topic. Gave me an opportunity to go through my CD collection.

After a lot of thought and looking through:

1st place: Living for the City by RFC Nikon.
Hit me at first glance though it reminded me more of "Summer in The City" by John B. Sebastian.

2nd place: Tall Tall Trees by Leigh.
A picture that grows on you (no pun intended). I like Alan Jackson, but I think George Jones had the original hit. And I'm a country boy at heart.

3rd place: Get A Grip by Mcs.
Reminded me also of the oldie, but goodie: "Baby Makes Her Blue Jeans Talk" by Dr. Hook.

A tough one. Very diffucult to judge in that this is a view of each individual entrants opinion. And I'll probably get flamed for these selections but here goes.

It's obviously in focus, great color saturation but most of all I can just picture it with black embossed letting.

1st place to Strobel for Back in Black
2nd to Chris101 for Blowin in the Wind.
3rd place to Panos for Moonlight shadow
  17. This time I simply choose for the pictures because I didn't know most of the Albums/Songs (might be I'm to young for most? )

So here's my vote for Challenge #13 - Song Title/Album

1st place: 3 points go to "Tall Tall Trees" by Leigh
...but luckely small enought for your Lens! Great!

2nd place: 2 points go to "Blowin' in the Wind" by Chris101
Could it be? I have seen this place on our way to Vegas (back in 2001 Hollydays)? Nice colours!

3rd place: 1 point goes to "Living for the City" by RFCNIKON
Stunning panorama! The "Big Apple" really never sleeps.

    Honorable mentions to:

Jade for "Hickory Dickory Dock" - I don't know the Song, but I bet my daughter would like it!
nburwell for "Mad World" - Great Song, even greater Picture idea!
Panos Kazanelis for "Moonlight Shadow" Your shadow seems taller then you
    and all the other participants!
