Thanks for all of the wonderful submissions. The point of this challenge was to portray something old along with something new, with the interpretation of this topic being open to the submitter. Post processing was allowed if it was felt that it enhanced what the person was trying to portray.

The voting begins now and ends on Friday July 28, 0000 hours.

interesting topic...

... with some very interesting submissions. Here's my vote:

1st place: mcs Grandchild & Grandfather -- nice concept and very well executed
2nd place: bendheim Car & Bicycle -- I also like the new sign on the old building
3rd place: TimK Dad, why do we have to live in the shadow of those sky scrappers? -- this really is a wild juxtaposition of architecture. For some reason it reminds me of Bladerunner.
