Charity Flag Football - Firefighers vs NE Patriots

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by jklofft, Jun 20, 2007.

  1. The local firefighters held a charity flag football game against members of the NE Patriots past & present last night. A long moment of silence was observed at the start in memory of the tragedy that occured in SC earlier in the day.

The locals were no match for the pros (surprise?)

As the Pats scored on 3 of their first 4 plays

While their defense smothered the locals holding them to 1 point (an int/runback on an extra point attempt)

The locals substituted, adding youth and athleticism

But even they were no match to the fleet footed pros

Later in the second half, the locals evened the playing field by inserting their secret weapon. Who keep the pros off balance

And managed to break through and score

After that, the game got close, but the Pats were victorious in the end. A good time was had by all.

  9. Thanks to all for viewing and commenting. As a long time Pats fan, it was great fun to see players like Steve Grogan and Russ Francis.
