Cheap arse color...

    Arista asa 800 from Freestyle in Hollyweird. I think I paid $3.00 for three rolls. I shoot mainly color to convert to B&W and bought some rolls of the Arista 100, 400 and 800 to test out. I was surprised at the really cool color that comes off it. I wonder what brand it is remarked from.

    I shot these yesterday at Box Canyon and The Japanese Garden in Los Angeles. Developed at Costco, scanned with Nikon Coolscan V, no adjustments other then resized in CS2.

    They do a 200 speed too.

    Wow, Dave! Those colors are gorgeous! I'll have to try some of their color stuff next time I place an order with them!

    I just got a huge bonus from work....I almost bought a 5D....instead I bought some film and a six pack of Mickey's....

  9. Yeah, the colors are looking good. If you can find the country of origin, it wouldn't be too difficult to figure out the manufacturer.
