I got a PN-11 tube and I have used it with a 50mm 1.8D with good results but the working distance and range is very limited, I was wondering if there was a cheap older lense say 150mm or greater that had a short minimum focusing distance that I could pick up for $100-$200. I know the AF 300mm
f4 and it is on my wish list but want cheaper for now. Here are a couple shots, boring but they show what the combo is capable of. I thought I did pretty good for first attempt. All manual of course and hand held. Used SB600 for lighting.
