First time I've heard the term looser crop - hehe..
If you could explain it to me, I have 1 or 2 other shots I could look at?

no matter, just had a look, the other shot has no eye contact in it

Haha, my bad. English is clearly not my forte!

What I meant was the cheetah's head takes up most of the frame, and the head is very close to the sides of the picture. I was wondering whether you had a shot where we weren't as zoomed in to his head.

Looks very calm but i still wouldnt trust a cheetah lol. Great shot.

Here's one I took in San Diego with my old D70. Couldn't coerce him out of the shade (It was only 104 degrees out )
