CHINA: one month, one camera, one country.

Discussion in 'Wanderlust and Travel' started by pinhead, Jul 24, 2008.

  1. I wanted to let the summer contest blow over before putting up this set since my entry is in it. I was in China for a month and only brought one solitary D3, not even a camera-phone in addition. I came back with just short of 100GB in image files and I have uploaded a selection to Flickr for sharing.

Love your images , Grade A++

  4. i'm still looking
    they are INCREDIBLE

  5. i'm not one to categorize images by the equipment used but I can certainly select a few to represent the collection and link them directly. most of these have never passed through Photoshop so Exif is available. click on the image from the thumbnails and find the 'more properties' link, it will tell you the focal length.

  6. a few selected images from the slide show

That's a great set of photos! I'm planning to spend two weeks in China in September (post-Olympics) - did you find any restrictions on what you could photograph?

  15. Love it

Wow, man! Fantastic set! If I were you, I'd be proud of the images I got.

  17. those are beautiful photos! 100GB!!! Holy cow! So I guess you took your laptop then

  18. no major restrictions. some shows and religious sites where restricted but it is fairly open. don't expect NYC attitude issues, you will have an entirely different set of problems.
