    Hi you'll,

Some folks think I have it easy living so close to the Viera Wetlands but thats not really true. Awhile ago I came across this scene
    [IMG]

On the tree on the left there was an osprey and on The Tree was a crested caracara. They had me bouncing back and forth carrying my tripod and camera from tree to tree like a ball in a pinball game.

    first the osprey
    [IMG]

    then the caracara
    [IMG]

    back to the osprey
    [IMG]

    caracara time
    [IMG]

    one more osprey
    [IMG]

then to really overload me a second caracara arrived
    [IMG]

I'm too old and fat to be doing all this running around.

Thanks Andreas, glad you enjoyed them. They were shot with the Nikon 500mm/f4 and the TC14EII which definitely is a great combo.

I'm sorry Frank. BTW I was at the Wetlands this morning and there's a new raptor in town, a golden eagle.

If you were like the rest of us, you would have been happy with the one. I admit, I'm never happy with one humpback, but I don't control the boat, so there isn't much I can do about my situation. Just look at the bright side, you won't need that gym membership....
    Great shots, BTW.

  11. It's a rough life Harry, I dont know how you cope with it all.

  15. You go, Harry!!! I'm not jealous cuz I can get over there any time I want.  It's great to have days like those when such decisions must be made. Good luck with your continued exercise regimen!

I prefer it when they take turns instead all coming in at once but what the heck. I'll take what they give me.

    Thanks

  17. Hey Harry, excellent shots of both birds. I am still amazed at the the claws on the Osprey and you have shown them well.

Looks like you had a rough day
And I bet you still complained because they just sat there and didn't do anything.
