Christmas tree - day 5 (5 pics)

Discussion in 'Miscellany' started by Frits, Nov 29, 2005.

  1. Here is today's progress report (first thread: https://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=57379 ).

After completing the tree, today my wife started the village under the tree. The plan was to finish it off today, but that just did not happen. There is LOTS left to do
Here is how the day went:

My wife, together with the "Site Supervisor" getting ready for the day:

Some of the inhabitants, eager to get out of their "summer residence"  :

    Starting with the rough layout:

At the end of the day: nice, but far from finished:

To be continued tomorrow (y'all tired of this yet    I told you it would be long....  )

Frits, I love this series. Reminds me of times long ago when I was a kid. I think this year I will get a Christmas tree so my kids can enjoy it (p.s. Christmas trees are less common here in Israel).
Much appreciation to your wife and the site supervisor for the wonderful work on the tree.
  8. Thanks all!
Scott & Melissa: It is about 10 feet tall.

Paul: Yes, we have 4 but only the youngest (15) is still at home. Be sure to post your tree, you seem motivated!  . Fluff by now knows NOT to play with the tree or the village and has become pretty good about it.
