  1. Out doing some yard work today and I got to watch a Cicada emerge from it's shell. Pretty cool stuff!!

    Man, that's creepy!

    Insects in general are pretty creepy, if you stop to think about it. Good shots, esp the 1st one.

    That's cool, Bryan. I see the casings all over our yard, but in all my life, I've never seen one emerge. What a lucky "dawg" you are!
  6. That was my first time to see that. I used a 50mm f/1.8 AF. I love that little lens. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. :D :D :D

    Bryan, I have been trying all summer for a shot like these! Shells everywhere but I've yet to catch one in the act.
    That must have been cool to watch! Don't you love that little lens!
