Seems as though mine was assembled incorrectly from mfg.

Although I am waiting for further information on mine from Patrick .

I will keep you up-dated.

I am going to return for a refund.

Gale's OTG datasync hard drive was not secured inside the chassis and it arrived that way from the manufacturer. There were no screws holding it in place and it creeped out of the connector for the hard drive. I suspect an intermittant connection corrupted the FAT table rendering the data gone.

Using some data recovery utilites that can see a RAW hard drive, I was able to rebuild 85% of the drives' contents.

I think that if the hard drive had not become disconnected from the mainboard it would have worked flawlessly.

I did lose quite a few files. So far looks like I have them backed up on CD"s

Sending in for refund.

Right now I am doing a back up of my cd's...

So much to do, so little time
Close to 400 images to process.
