What effect do circular polarizers have on IR photos?
  2. Howdy,

I haven't used one in quite a while, one of the bad side effects is it's one more thing that can contribute to "Hot Spot" with the light having to go through one more piece of glass.

Would be interested in hearing others opinions and experiences also.
  3. In my experience circular polarizers will work just like they do in visible light, but in addition to cutting the polarized light they also cause a blue color shift. It's no big deal since you'll tweak the colors in PP anyway, but it's good to know.
