The George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film has posted an online display of Civil War photography. Each photo includes a description of the location and events that transpired there. It can be seen here:

That took some time to read what was with each photo. Wow! There is some really interesting information with these photos. Thanks, worth the time for sure.
