Claw Cactus flower.

  1. Just trying to capture the curves and colors, used a remote flash bouncing of a reflector and the reversed 28.

    We have had two choices for weather here lately, fog or rain so not much outside shooting so I did some inside.

    I think these are also called Christmas Cactus or Schlumbergera.

    Hey Harry, I was talking to a guy over on Nikonians and he keeps Tiger Beetles as pets, has some nice pictures of them, wild and captive.

    He gave me some pointers on getting pictures of them since there so fast moving.
