Finally finished processing this set, overall i'm pretty pleased with it but my only gripe is that I wish i could have afforded a second shooter as I really wanted more shots from different angles or views of the action that I couldn't get.

I have posted my favorites since this forum doesn't really support more than 12 images per post and the rest are on my blog which even still is just a highlights at 74 pictures.

More pictures on the Blog

Any critique just let me have it as its the only way I will learn :)

WOW! Love how you captured this wedding. Looking at some of the shooting data and it looks like all you used was a 50mm and a 85mm, is that your normal set-up for weddings?

How many remote speed lights did you you use during the reception?

thanks Miguel!

Yes I only used a 50 and 85 lens, I have a 35 but it was off for warranty work. I just purchased a 20-35 as well to add some more variety to future sets as I really could have used a wide angle during the reception. Yes the 85 and 50 have been my standard as I really love having 2 bodies each with their own prime. I love the shallow DOF ability and dont mind zooming with my feet. Next wedding I will try 85 on one camera and 35 on the other.

I used a total of 4 speedlights. 2 on one side and 1 on the other and then 1 mounted on my camera for fill.

Well, I love the shallow DOF. I really need to start using my 50 and 85 more often.

Stunning work.
Love the feel of the whole set.
The only shot I feel could have been a bit better is the garter shot as it gets a little lost against the projector but not much you could do for that bar maybe a high bust rate of shots to get it earlier.

ugh I know, its all a crap shoot with that shot sometimes.

thanks for the kind words!

This is fantastic!

Gutsy move going without a midrange zoom. Great shots.

thank you both guys, i'm not completely sold on all prime setup but i'm working with it as much as I can to master it before I move on to something else.
