Love the first one the vibrancy of the color is amazing. I have been watching these posts of floral and really like them. Are these from what are considered MACRO lenses?

Thank you very much for your kind comments Tony.

Only the lens used on the #2 is a dedicated macro lens (Tamron SP DI 90mm 2.8 Macro), all the other pics were taken with the Sigma 70-300 APO Macro but the Sigma can't achieve the 1:1 true macro (only works at 1:2). They keep calling it macro for marketing reasons IMHO, it's a nice feature on this telephoto zoom lens for the price but can't keep up with the more expensive Macro lenses.

I do apologise for my poor English and I hope some of the nice people around can explain it to you in proper English.

Amazing colors Jorge. I love the blue flower shots and the bulrush/cattail. The Sigma 70-300 is a very nice lens.

  6. I like #1 and #4 for the vibrant color and #5 for the interesting little frog. All are nice, but don't care for the bugs personally. Just my opinion.

  9. Jorge...
very nice pics! I like the bees crawling thru the flower.
Your flowers are very beautiful in Thailand.
    (not your bugs ;) )

And thanks for installing the exif material.
    Very helpful...
I downloaded Opanda, but it does not give this information.
Gives other types of info...but what you have listed is what I was
wanting to know about the pictures.

    Nice job...

Oh...and your English is fine, we understood...

Very kind words of you Cheryle. Many, many thanks. Regarding the Exif info I posted a link to a nice freeware program in one of your threads and I will keep showing the exif of my pics. All these flower shots were taken hand held and no flash was used.
    Again, Thank You.
