Not being to tightly framed was not an option. He sprinted across the open ground so fast and ended up just a few feet from me in less time than i could turn the zoom ring.

Just a "kitten" - no nose scars! :cool: No danger at all, except from the teeth . Oh, and the claws. Oh, or the brother/sister giving the licks in #3 (no nose scars either). Not a problem at all, otherwise you would not have posted at all.

Outstanding captures! Monica would have loved them as she worked for the "Tiger" company - Exxon.

The first is a magnificent capture. The details of the markings are incredible. It's a wonder how the animal's symmetry and detail came to be. Even the black stripe around each eye seems meticulously placed. Well done!

thanks, i attribute alot to the qualities of the 70-200mm vr f2.8 which can do amazing things in horrible conditions.
