And a couple of others from today --
What do you have a ladder tied to the tree? Your going to get reported as a peeping tom!!!!
BTW Darn Nice shots
Don't know what to say but wow! The detail in the feathers is a joy to look at. Don't often see it this close.
Super shots, I'm assuming they hired you to do the baby pictures also?
Wow. I love #3
Great series!. Number 3 is an awesome photograph!
LOL, you must live one tree over to get shots like these! Nice job. They're all over down here, but always fun to watch. Would gladly empty a card (well, almost) shooting these guys at this range.
I find the first one outstanding, well they all are, just the first one has a lot more happening, good framing and DOF.....
Sincere thanks to all who've stopped to look and comment. This pair of redbellied woodpeckers is nesting in a tree that's not forty feet from our back door, so I've had extraordinary access to get close photos of them. They've started to bring food to the nest in the past couple of days, so I'm hopeful that I might get pix of woodpecker munchkins (wood-chips?) soon.
Awesome detail on these. I sure hope we get to see some woodchips!
I still think you live in that tree....lol
Holy smokes, these are all just great images. Well done.
