I've always felt Collared Lizards are one of the most impressive looking native lizards of the Utah desert. I found this looker near Fisher Towers (click for larger size):

Taken with a Nikon D300, Nikon 300F4 AF-D, Kenko 1.4x converter using auto-ISO: F9, 1/1600, ISO 800. Love that auto-ISO!

I'm not that much of a lizard/reptile guy, but I do have to admit you have captured an intriguing subject. Colorful and humorous (love the look on his face). Great job!

Nice shot!

Indeed a most impressive desert saurian that won't hesitate to give a human captor a good nip or two :)

Looks like his poor little back feet are hot on the rock! That's how we walk across blacktop here in Florida, too.

Lovely little guy!
