color correction help please

    I think a simple color balance in both highlights and mid-tones does the trick. If you like the red skin tones you could mask around her. I just removed the red and did not spend much time correcting complete color.

    It's harder to get things right without a calibrated monitor. In addition, images displayed on the Internet have a way of really frustrating folks. I won't even go into the differences between PC and Mac displays!

    Color correction can be your best friend or worst nightmare.

    That is all true, but if you use the info key and you are sure you have a white backgournd you can adjust the colors untill your RGB colors are all close to equal. Find the brightest white spot and see if there is any information (not 255,255,255) and then adjust the color balance to get the desired results.

    knowing your colors you can correct colors on photos with a black and white monitor using just the info (not saying I can do that).
