Coming at you

    It has been a while since I have posted anything, but here are two from a summer fair in my vicinity.

    It was raining on and off, and I had mud on my front as well as my back. He flung it 30 plus feet into the air.

    Nikon D800 with 70-200 VR2 - Shutter 1/160 sec.

    These are both very cool, Tom. The first one looks like it's coming out of the screen, and the facial expression makes the second one for me.
     
  3. You got the shutter speed just right to show the motion but still get a sharp image.

    Thanks Amin. I, and a lot of people standing around me, were surprised he wasn't wearing glasses or goggles. For my purposes I am glad he didn't

    Thanks William, I hate it, when things that are supposed to be in motion look like they are parked because of a high shutter speed. It does mean I get a good number of wasted shots, but it is worth it. These were at 1/160 sec.
