Coming to the Nest

[Louis Champan]

It's always exciting to visit this nest and catch the first fledgling of the chicks. I seemed to hit it about right on this morning and caught the two young making their first flights. After take-off they typically made a large circle around the nest and then came back to the nest for their landings, which were something to watch as well, I have another series of the landing to post in the future.
