I've spent a large number of hours this spring on the beach and a bit of that time has been up in the dunes (with proper permitting of course) getting pooped on pretty regularly....but some of the shots I've gotten are just sort of worth it :)

    First to hatch.....

First couple of forays out of the nest....very shortly after hatching....

    Mom at the nest....

    Feeding Time....

Looking out at the big world from the relative safety of the dune edge....

  2. Fantastic shots Jim ! I don't know what else to say
  3. Yer usual stunning work Jim. I like these birds and we have a lot of them around Cape Charles, VA where my condo is. They don't nest close to anyplace people can get to because of the lack of roads and bridges so, we don't get opportunities to shoot them or nesting shorebirds often. Nicely done!

    Your usual great stuff.
What a wonderful sight to see.
Yes I know how much time you spend getting your subject.
But that is what makes you so great.
