At this time of year, the zinnia is my favorite flower in our yard -- even the common pink ones catch my eye. The butterflies and hummingbirds seem to agree with my preference:smile::wink:.

Thanks, Tom. My wife planted seed from last year's crop, so we have quite a variety of colors -- the hummers seem to prefer the bright red ones, but they visit others as well.

Jeff, Steven, Tim, and Rich -- Thanks. I took several others, but this one turned out best. The natural lighting of the flower plus a deeply shadowed background made it work out well.
